The winners of the 2010 Senior Bowl Superstar competition were the Satsuma High School “A cappella Sound”. The six-member group earned the honor of singing the national anthem prior to the 2010 Under Armour Senior Bowl by collecting more than 23,000 online votes over a three day period. The group is made up of Satsuma High School students (above, left to right) Alyssa Preston, Shelby Dossett, Scarlett Graham, Sloane Foney, Ariel Allen and Marlee Stevison.
After advancing past the preliminary rounds of the Superstar competition, the “Sound” was chosen as one of three finalists to perform on WKRG’s morning show. When the competition turned to an online vote, the group gathered more than 16,000 votes to win the seventh annual event. Congratulations to the Satsuma High School “A cappella Sound”—Senior Bowl Superstar 2010!
