Baumhower’s Wings Restaurant Senior Bowl Tailgate Challenge
2010 Senior Bowl Tailgater of the Year: Krewe Kronics
Before the ball is ever teed up and booted down the field for the Under Armour Senior Bowl, a winner will already be crowned—in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium parking lot that is. In an effort to celebrate one of college football’s long standing traditions, a competition was created in 2004 to determine the best tailgater at the Senior Bowl each year. With the help of Bob Baumhower’s Wings Restaurant, the “Senior Bowl Tailgater of the Year” was born.
Participants in the event are judged on the right combination of good food, originality and outstanding presentation. The winner is recognized on the field during the first half of the Senior Bowl game.
In 2010 the team of “Krewe Kronics” took home top honors, which included a trophy, a Big Green Egg and an outdoor prize package donated by Academy Sports & Outdoors.
