For the fifth straight year, Food World hosted a free tailgate party for 3,000 fans in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium parking lot on Senior Bowl Saturday 2007!

For 3,000 lucky fans, Senior Bowl Saturday 2007 meant not just attending a great football game featuring the country’s premier collegiate players, but the chance to attend one of the world’s largest free tailgate parties.

For the fifth straight year, Food World supermarkets hosted a giant tailgate party in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium parking lot prior to the 58th annual Senior Bowl, featuring free food, interactive games and activities and musical entertainment.

And, for the fifth straight year, it was a huge success.

Fans who purchased tickets at area Food World stores received free admittance to the giant tailgate party, which featured free food such as bratwurst from the Johnsonville Sausage Big Taste Grill (the world’s largest grill), hot dogs, Krispy Kreme donuts, Edy’s Ice Cream, Barber’s Dairy and Coca-Cola products.

Attendees also enjoyed dozens of interactives such as those from the New Orleans Saints Experience, the Coca-Cola Family Festival and rock walls and inflatable games provided by the Alabama Army National Guard.

Live musical entertainment was provided by the Alabama Army National Guard 151st Band.

So be sure not to miss this year’s Food World Tailgate Party, which is once again scheduled to take place three hours prior to the kickoff of Senior Bowl 2008, in the Ladd-Peebles Stadium parking lot.
