Senior Bowl teams up with Reese's brand
MOBILE, AL. — Senior Bowl, LLC and its parent organization, the Mobile Arts and Sports Association, Inc. (MASA), announced that Reese’s® Peanut Butter Cups has signed on as the Senior Bowl’s new title sponsor.
The multi-year agreement starts with the 2014 game in January.
“We are so honored to have the Reese’s® brand as our title sponsor,” said Senior Bowl Chairman and CEO Angus Cooper II, who also serves as the MASA Chairman. “Their corporate success and commitment to excellence are both perfectly aligned with the Senior Bowl’s prime values and those associated with America’s premier college all-star game.”
“The Reese's Senior Bowl is a perfect combination of two iconic brands and we believe this partnership will elevate our position in the sports business market place now and in the future,” said Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage. “We are very proud to bring on the Reese’s brand as the title sponsor of our game.”
In addition to its new partnership with the Senior Bowl, the Reese’s® brand is also the official candy partner of the NCAA® and the title sponsor of the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Reese’s® College All-Star Game, which features the top Division I senior basketball student-athletes from around the country and is played the weekend of the NCAA Men’s Final Four®.
“The Reese’s brand is excited to partner with the Senior Bowl,” said Drew Iddings, Director, Promotions and Planning, The Hershey Company. “We are confident that this partnership will continue to solidify the Reese’s brand’s leadership in collegiate athletics as well as honor senior student-athletes who achieved success on and off the field during their college careers.”
The Senior Bowl had a title sponsor as recently as 2011, when it concluded a five-year run as the Under Armour Senior Bowl. Under Armour will provide apparel for the 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl. The Senior Bowl also previously had a title sponsorship with Delchamps grocery stores (’94-’00).
The 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, January 25 in Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game and all practices will be televised by NFL Network.
