Seventeen more accept invites to 2017 game

MOBILE, Ala. (Nov. 21) -- A pair of pass catchers highlight the group of 17 players who accepted invitations to the 2017 Reese's Senior Bowl this week.

Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram, the nation's leading receiver among tight ends, and Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook, who leads all Power Five receivers in receiving and has scored 16 total touchdowns, both will be in Mobile in January.

The 17 new additions to the roster boost the total number of accepted invites for the 2017 game to 29. In the coming weeks, the top 110 seniors and fourth-year junior graduates in the nation will form the rosters for the North and South squads. They will begin practices on Jan. 23 and play the 68th annual Reese's Senior Bowl game on Jan. 28, 2017 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

ESPN2 and NFL Network will broadcast live from the practices and NFL Network will carry the game beginning at 1:30pm CT.

Vince Biegel, LB, Wisconsin – Rated the No. 1 returning outside linebacker by Pro Football Focus preseason. Key component of the No. 5 scoring defense in the nation. Pass rusher with 19.5 career sacks.
Dion Dawkins, OL, Temple – Three-year starter at left tackle. Athletic big man and former 0-star recruit anchoring the offensive line for the nation’s No. 5 team in time of possession.

Jessamen Dunker, OG, Tennessee State - Transfer from Florida, was a pre-season all-conference selection.
Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss – Nation’s leading receiver among tight ends with 926 yards and eight touchdown receptions. All-time Ole Miss leader in receptions and receiving yards by a tight end. 
Dan Feeney, OG, Indiana – Four-year starter at right guard. First-team All-American by ESPN.com. Has spent some time at right tackle this season.
Johnathan “Rudy” Ford, DB, Auburn – Team’s leading tackler the last two seasons and second-leading tackler so far in 2016. Versatile player who’s started at safety and nickel while returning kicks and seeing time on offense.
Zane Gonzalez, PK, Arizona State – Lou Groza Award semifinalist that leads the nation in made field goals (23). NCAA’s all-time leader in field goals and Pac-12’s all-time leading scorer. Has a long of 59 yards this season.
Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina – FBS all-time leader in receptions (388) and nation’s leading receiver with 151 catches for 1,685 yards. Six games with at least 170 yards receiving this season.
Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE, Villanova – FCS All-American has 19.0 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks this season. Scored a touchdown on a fumble return.
Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte – Four-year starter and program’s all-time leader in tackles, tackles for loss and sacks. Active big man is second on the team in tackles this season and has 11.5 tackles for loss. 
Duke Riley, LB, LSU – Had just one career start before emerging this season as first-year starter and senior leader. Speedy linebacker is second on the team in tackles and tackles for loss.
Ezra Robinson, CB, Tennessee State - Michigan State transfer recorded five interceptions this season.
Tanzel Smart, DT, Tulane – First-Team All-American Athletic Conference. Has 17.0 tackles for loss this season.
Freddie Stevenson, FB, Florida State – Former linebacker that’s been a steady presence in FSU backfield. Has paved the way for Dalvin Cook’s record-setting career as a lead blocker.
Trent Taylor, WR, Louisiana Tech – Extremely productive slot receiver who’s set career highs in receptions (103), yards (1,343) and touchdowns (10) this season. Nation’s third-leading receiver and had eight straight 100-yard games.
Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma – Hornung Award finalist, Maxwell Award and Biletnikoff Award semifinalist. Leads all Power Five receivers in receiving, second nationally with 1,354 yards. Leads the nation with five touchdowns of 60 or more yards and has a 71-yard punt return touchdown. Has 16 total touchdowns.
Jamaal Williams, RB, Brigham Young – BYU’s all-time leading rusher. Has 10 rushing touchdowns and 1,034 yards while dealing with recent ankle injury. Ran for a school single-game record 286 yards and five touchdowns on Sept. 30.
