SrBowl to host Youth Camp/Family Fun Day

MOBILE, ALA. (July 21) — Youth football players (ages 4-13) are invited to the 3rd Annual Reese’s Senior Bowl Youth Football Clinic on Saturday, July 26.  The clinic will be at West Mobile County Park, located at 2275 Leroy Stevens Road in Mobile and will run from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. Registration begins at 8:00a.m.  The camp is free.

Participants will receive instruction on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball from Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage and Mobile Youth Football Conference coaches.

In addition to the football clinic, South Alabama cheerleaders will be conducting a free cheerleading clinic at the same time and location.

At the conclusion of the camps, all children are invited to attend the PNC Bank Family Fun Day from 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m. at West Mobile County Park.

The Family Fun Day includes PNC Bank’s ‘Grow up Great’ area, an inflatable fun zone, clowns, face painters, free Coca-Cola products, hot dogs and music.  The event is free and open to the public.  You do not need to participate in the football and/or cheerleading camps to attend.

“This is an event for the entire family,” Savage said. “There’s something for everyone, whether it’s the football or cheerleading camp, sliding down on one of the inflatables or participating in PNC’s outstanding ‘Grow up Great’ area. It’s always a great time for everyone involved.”
